Job Title: Managing Director

Location: Karachi, Gulshan‑e‑Iqbal

Shift Hours: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Night Shift)

Reporting To: Zan Rizvi, CPA

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Managing Director to oversee daily operations and manage our team. This key role is designed to take the day-to-day operational tasks off the owner's plate, ensuring that all workers are effectively supervised and that communication is streamlined. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives on making sure everything runs smoothly, so the business owner can focus on strategic growth and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee all team members, ensuring that their work aligns with company goals and timelines. Handle any issues that arise during the night shift, providing solutions and support as needed.
  • Task Management: Ensure that all tasks and projects are completed according to deadlines. Follow up with team members to ensure progress and quality of work.
  • Communication Filtering: Manage and filter all internal and external communications, addressing urgent matters and escalating issues only when necessary.
  • Operational Oversight: Streamline daily operations to maximize efficiency. Address operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot any operational or personnel issues that may arise, offering effective solutions without needing to involve senior management.
  • Reporting & Updates: Provide regular updates to the owner regarding team performance, challenges, and any significant developments in the business.
  • Client & Vendor Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring that all business needs are met and that customer satisfaction remains high.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Capable of filtering and prioritizing communications to ensure business continuity.
  • Experience with remote teams is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in project management and team communication tools.
