Backend Engineer – Cloud Security & Compliance (On-Site Lahore Base Candidate)

What You'll Work On

As a Backend Engineer, you'll help expand and harden the core of our cloud security platform by:

Building scalable systems to analyze thousands of cloud resources per customer (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Writing Golang & Python microservices for serverless & containerized environments (Lambda, ECS)

Extending our OPA rules engine and improving data storage, querying, and presentation

Designing workflows to automate compliance (ISO 27001, CIS, NIST)

Creating real-time systems to process infrastructure changes in seconds

Collaborating directly with founders on product features, architecture, and shipping code

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with Golang or Python (ideally both)

Hands-on experience with Azure (bonus if you've secured Azure environments)

Experience building scalable backends with queues, orchestration frameworks, or event-driven pipelines

Knowledge of security & compliance concepts (IAM, misconfigurations, least privilege, defense-in-depth)

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and tested code

Comfortable in a fast-paced, async-first environment

Ownership mindset — you fix what's broken

Proven track record of building something end-to-end (product, project, side hustle)
