  About the Role:
• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fractional Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Fractional Billing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently bill customers for even the smallest increments of work completed. Your keen attention to detail and proficiency in billing systems will ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment collection. This role requires exceptional
  skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  
  Primary Responsibilities:
  • Compile and maintain data in Google Sheets through Google Docs and other systems to accurately generate and process fractional billing and invoices for customers based on the work performed.
    
  • Monitor and track fractional billing activities to ensure the timely completion of invoicing cycles.
    
  • Verify the accuracy of billing information, including project details, hourly rates, and incremental work completed.
    
  • Collaborate with project leads, team leads, and relevant departments to obtain necessary documentation and validate billable work.
    
  • Maintain meticulous records of billing activities, including invoice creation, adjustments, and payment receipts
    
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends, anomalies, and discrepancies.
    
  • Prepare regular reports summarising fractional billing activities, revenue generated, and outstanding balances.
    
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile billing records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
    
  • Assist in the development and improvement of billing processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
    
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries and clarifications for internal and external stakeholders.
    
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing detailed explanations and resolutions related to billing matters.
    
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to billing practices.
    
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information in a secure manner.
    
    
• Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role, preferably in a fractional billing environment.
    
  • High level of proficiency in Google Sheets is a must
  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, invoicing systems, and financial software.
    
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
    
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
    
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
