The Assistant Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the software house. This position supports the Operations Manager in overseeing workflows across development, design, QA, project management, and support teams. The role focuses on optimizing operational processes, maintaining delivery timelines, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring efficient internal communication. This individual acts as the central operational link between teams—tracking deadlines, aligning resources, assisting in sprint planning coordination, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that operational standards and SOPs are consistently followed. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day operational oversight.

·       Maintain smooth coordination between Development, QA, Design, Marketing, and Support teams.

·       Assist in implementing and refining SOPs, processes, and documentation.

·       Coordinate sprints, weekly reviews, task alignment, and internal meetings.

·       Track deadlines, milestones, resource needs, and team workload.

·       Ensure clear communication between management and internal teams.

·       Prepare agendas, meeting notes, follow-ups, and weekly operational reports.

·       Monitor task progress, team performance, and operational KPIs.

·       Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and support quality standards.

·       Assist with onboarding, HR documentation, training sessions, and process-improvement activities.

·       Manage operational calendars, project timelines, and cross-department workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

·  
1–3 years of experience
in operations, project coordination, or administrative support (preferably in IT or software).

·       Strong understanding of software development workflows (Agile, sprints, QA testing cycles).

·       Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, , Trello, Asana, or Notion.

·       Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

·       Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Experience

·       Prior experience in a software house, IT agency, SaaS company, or digital product environment.

·       Knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and development lifecycle processes.

·       Familiarity with resource planning and basic project management principles.
