About the Role
We are seeking a Product Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, functional, and beautiful user experiences. As part of the product team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver impactful solutions. This role requires a balance of UX thinking and visual design skills, along with the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile products—from research, wireframing, and prototyping to final UI design.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user problems and deliver effective solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Translate complex workflows into clean, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Maintain and evolve LAAM's design system and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality assets, specifications, and documentation for the engineering team.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, CS or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or a similar role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Strong communication skills to present design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with a focus on ownership and accountability.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React components) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
