  • Identify and develop new customers (manufacturers, distributors, traders) and expand business within assigned territory/industry verticals.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, technical meetings, sample trials, quotations, negotiation, order capture and handover to operations.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and distributors; perform regular account reviews.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, commercial proposals and follow-up to close deals.
  • Work with R&D/technical service to support trials, troubleshoot product performance and provide technical documentation (MSDS, TDS).
  • Ensure correct product classification, labeling and compliance with safety/regulatory norms (MSDS, packaging, transport).
  • Coordinate with supply chain/warehouse to monitor stock, delivery timelines and resolve logistics issues.
  • Maintain CRM with timely updates (leads, visits, quotations, order status).
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales, margin and collection targets.
  • Report market intelligence: competitor pricing, product substitutes, demand trends and raw material movements.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits and product demonstrations as required.

Required qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Business/Marketing with strong exposure to chemicals.
  • 2–6 years sales experience in industrial / specialty chemicals, raw materials, adhesives, coatings, polymers or related sectors (adjust per seniority).
