Role Overview
The
Marketplace Acquisition Manager
is responsible for building and scaling a sustainable, high-quality talent supply engine across multiple markets. This role sits at the intersection of growth, strategy, and operations — ensuring a steady inflow of qualified talent that meets evolving customer demand and business targets.
The manager will design and execute
acquisition strategies and channels
that deliver efficiency and scale — from digital marketing funnels to institutional partnerships — while constantly experimenting to identify new sources of reliable talent. They will lead and mentor
local acquisition teams
, leveraging on-ground insights to shape regional supply strategies that align with market dynamics and customer needs.
This role also owns the
end-to-end talent experience during the acquisition lifecycle
, from initial application through onboarding, ensuring a frictionless and engaging process that maximizes conversion and reduces
early-life churn
.
The Marketplace Acquisition Manager will be a
strategic growth driver
, combining data-backed experimentation, process rigor, and human-centered design to strengthen the marketplace's talent foundation and unlock long-term supply-side sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Building an efficient and scalable talent pipeline across multiple markets
- Experimenting and launching acquisition channels to bring in sustainable talent supply
- Leading Supply side partnerships to bring in Institutional Supply
- Leading the local acquisitions team to gather on-ground learnings and devising regional supply strategies
- Owning the talent experience throughout the talents' application lifecycle
- Owning and improving the talents' early life churn
Experience & Qualifications
- Background in tech marketplaces/start-ups - ideal
- Experience in leading and developing teams across different regions
- Experience in building sustainable supply networks
- Data driven mind-set to understand the business trends and make projections for the supply chain
- Strong stakeholder management experience & good communication skills
- Leading Supply Partnerships & execution of the supply initiatives across multiple regions
- Experience working with the product team to get the right product developed ensuring good supply onboarding experience
- Experience in designing the talent journey
- Experience owning the early life churn for Supply (talent)
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor degree from a reputable institution
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets is required
