About CEGA:

The Centre of Excellence on Gaming and Animation (CEGA) is a first-of-its-kind national hub dedicated to nurturing the next generation of game developers, animators, and creative entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Established under the Ignite National Technology Fund (NTF) , Ministry of IT & Telecom (MOITT) and led by HUM Network Ltd. in partnership with LUMS, Techsolspace, Sectionsoft, and Agon, CEGA brings together training, incubation, community building, and international linkages under one roof. With two state-of-the-art centres located at NED University (Karachi) and NASTP (Lahore), CEGA aims to build a globally competitive gaming and animation industry in Pakistan by incubating 200 startups over 5 years, training 10,000 youth, and fostering a vibrant community of creators, technologists, and entrepreneurs driving innovation and growth in the country's creative economy.

Key Responsibitlies

• Facilitate and engage the
  startup community at the CEGA Centre
  , working closely with the
  Program Manager
  to create a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Develop and execute strategies to
  build, grow, and sustain an active community
  around CEGA's programs and initiatives.
• Manage and enhance CEGA's
  online presence
  across social media platforms, forums, and other relevant channels.
• Create and share engaging content
  , including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and multimedia updates, ensuring consistent and on-brand communication.
• Organize and host community events, workshops, and meetups
  to promote interaction, learning, and networking among members.
• Build and maintain
  relationships with key industry stakeholders
  , partners, and influencers to strengthen CEGA's network and visibility.
• Provide
  support to community members
  , addressing concerns, suggestions, and feedback to improve their experience.
• Monitor and analyze engagement metrics
  , preparing regular reports to assess the impact of community initiatives.
• Establish a
  feedback loop
  to gather insights from the community and implement improvements in programs and engagement strategies.
• Promote CEGA's training programs, events, and initiatives
  to increase visibility and participation.
• Advocate for the community's interests
  within CEGA, ensuring their needs are reflected in program planning and decision-making.
• Address and resolve community-related issues
  or conflicts, maintaining a positive, inclusive, and professional environment.
• Collaborate with marketing, training, and program management teams
  to align community efforts with overall organizational goals.
• Contribute to
  cross-functional projects
  by integrating community insights and supporting broader CEGA objectives.

Requirements:

• Education:
  A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a similar role, preferably in the technology, gaming, or animation sectors.
• Communication Skills:
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills:
  Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with community members, industry partners, and internal teams.
• Organizational Skills:
  Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple community initiatives and platforms simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Familiarity with social media platforms, community management tools, and basic graphic design or video editing software.
• Problem-Solving Skills:
  Ability to address community issues and conflicts effectively, maintaining a positive community environment.
