The Junior Accountant will support the finance department in day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in a structured finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Support:

  • Assist in maintaining financial records and performing data entry tasks.
  • Support in preparing invoices, expense reports, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable under supervision.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare basic financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in audit preparation by organizing supporting documents.

Cross-Department Coordination:

  • Work with procurement, sales, and operations teams to collect and verify financial data.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Other Details:

  • Onsite role in Karachi.
  • Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm (Pakistan Standard Time), Sunday to Friday.
  • Employees will be required to attend the office physically from Monday to Friday, while Sunday will be a designated work-from-home day. In addition, one extra hybrid day per week may be availed, subject to prior alignment with the direct manager.
  • Reports directly to the Accountant / Lead Accountant.
