Key Responsibilities1. Shipment Handling and Processing

  • Receive, sort, and document incoming shipments.

  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in documentation.

  • Coordination and Communication

  • Liaise with drivers, delivery personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.

  • Communicate shipment statuses to relevant parties, including updates on delays or issues.

  • Coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities for international shipments.

  • Inventory Management

  • Track and manage inventory of packaging materials and supplies.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of packages to avoid damage or loss.

  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory.

  • Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all shipments comply with international and local shipping regulations.

  • Accurately complete and file required shipping and customs documentation.

  • Adhere to company policies, including safety and security protocols.

  • Customer Service Support

  • Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, including tracking and delivery concerns.

  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.

  • Provide assistance to the customer service team as needed.

  • Operational Efficiency

  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Support the implementation of new technologies or systems for better workflow management.
