As we scale our operations, we are seeking a talented Business Development Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in our expansion.

Position Overview

We are looking for a results-driven
Business Development Associate
to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across multiple channels. This role combines strategic prospecting, client engagement, and revenue generation to fuel our company's growth trajectory.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work directly with leadership and technical teams to convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through freelance platforms, direct outreach, and strategic networking
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify target industries, companies, and decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects across multiple channels
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform go-to-market strategies

Client Acquisition & Sales

  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition and differentiation
  • Engage prospects through personalized outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Qualify leads based on strategic fit, budget, timeline, and business objectives
  • Conduct discovery consultations to understand client needs and position appropriate solutions
  • Guide prospects through the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure
  • Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with new clients

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry partners
  • Serve as primary point of contact for initial client interactions and communications
  • Coordinate closely with technical teams to ensure seamless handoffs and project alignment
  • Gather client feedback, testimonials, and referrals to support ongoing business development efforts

Strategy & Performance Optimization

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators including pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and revenue targets
  • Maintain detailed records of all business development activities in CRM systems
  • Identify patterns and insights from successful engagements to refine targeting and messaging
  • Test and optimize outreach strategies, proposal formats, and engagement approaches
  • Provide regular reporting on business development activities, pipeline status, and forecasts
  • Contribute strategic recommendations for new markets, services, and growth initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent English proficiency
    with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to write persuasive, professional business correspondence
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management capabilities
  • Fundamental understanding of technology, software, and business processes
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools and willingness to learn new platforms
  • Reliable internet connectivity and professional remote work setup
  • Full-time availability with flexibility to accommodate client time zones when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (B2B preferred)
  • Familiarity with freelance platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer
  • Background in technology sales or services marketing
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, or software development concepts
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and prospecting tools
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
