Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records and financial documents
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers
  • Handle accounts receivable and payable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Support audits, tax filings, and compliance processes
  • Generate financial reports for management review
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (entry-level candidates with internships may also apply)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with tax filing and compliance (GST, VAT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards (IFRS, GAAP)
