About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant (ACCA Part Qualified) to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial record management for Canadian clients using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including recording financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Communicate with Canadian clients to obtain missing information and clarify accounting details.
  • Use QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other accounting software to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Assist senior accountants with filing, documentation, and audit support when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client-specific accounting procedures.

Requirements:

  • ACCA Part Qualified or pursuing ACCA (Minimum 8 papers cleared).
  • 1–2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably with international or Canadian clients.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, or other cloud-based accounting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
