Job Purpose

To lead and manage the entire costing function of Boss Pakson, ensuring accurate product costing, cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and supporting strategic pricing and profitability decisions. The Head of Costing will play a key role in improving cost efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the costing department and oversee all cost accounting functions.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing for all products and components.
  • Conduct regular cost variance analysis and provide insights for improvement.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost structures.
  • Monitor raw material, labor, and overhead costs and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of costing reports.
  • Prepare cost sheets for new and existing products.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Analyze profitability by product, department, and business segment.
  • Maintain and improve costing procedures, policies, and internal controls.
  • Ensure ERP costing data accuracy and implement cost control mechanisms.
  • Provide data and support for audits and compliance requirements. Qualifications & Skills
  • CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA in Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a costing role, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
