Job Objective:

In this role, you will serve as main point of contact for our customers, lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion and ensuring timely delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of software engineers, DevOps engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud-based solutions and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full lifecycle of cloud-based and software development projects from initiation to closure ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives and execution.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans outlining key deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, promoting continuous improvement and team engagement.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact successful project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations.
  • Provide consistent project updates, highlighting progress, risks, blockers, and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships by managing escalations and ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Allocate and optimize team resources to meet project needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting Agile best practices and encouraging professional growth.
  • Continuously evaluate project outcomes, document lessons learned and implement improvements in project management practices.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements related to cloud services, software development, and delivery workflows.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance project delivery and team performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies and Agile software development.
  • Hands-on experience applying Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to manage software development projects and deliver high-impact results.
  • Proficient in using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, or equivalent.
  • Background in software development, with familiarity in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc., and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms preferably AWS to support architectural decisions, technical planning, and solution delivery.
  • Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring development practices align with deployment strategies and business objectives.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) for cloud-native deployments.
  • Proven client management skills, with the ability to manage expectations, handle escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of guiding and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to have:
  • PMP/CSM/PSM or AWS certified
  • Familiarity with AI trends and the ability to adopt GenAI practices.
