The
Assistant Manager – PCD
is responsible for overseeing production planning, control, and documentation to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves managing production data, job orders, process documentation, and manpower distribution, while ensuring compliance with approved procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills, along with solid experience in production control and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and update takt time for each model to ensure optimal manpower distribution and production efficiency.
  • Prepare assembly instructions for all processes, obtain necessary approvals, and distribute to production teams.
  • Generate job orders based on the production plan, ensure timely closing, and prepare monthly summaries of open job orders.
  • Update and distribute all production process documents promptly after approval.
  • Collect rework and rejection data from all sections and compile monthly reports for the Factory Manager.
  • Prepare and organize factory data for monthly in-house and CSD meetings.
  • Draft minutes of meetings, circulate them, and follow up on the assigned action items.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve utilization of manpower, materials, and production efficiency.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain accurate master data for all production-related information.
  • Maintain soft copies and documentation archives for BOMs, part specifications, data sheets, SOPs, and work instructions.

Qualifications:

  • 14–16 years of formal education or higher in Engineering, Production Management, or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in production control, manufacturing operations, or process documentation.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for production data management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
