Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the overall accounting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
  • Ensure timely entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Support in monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for billing and payment clarifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in audit preparation and compliance with tax and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate with the store team for stock and asset tracking.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail or FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
