Working Hours: UK time zone – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Budget / Salary Range: PKR 300,000 to PKR 350,000 per annum

Kemat Consulting Limited is a forward-looking consultancy firm located in Blue Area, Islamabad, delivering high-quality IT and business solutions. We emphasise agile methodologies and efficient delivery, and we're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to strengthen our agile teams and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and the Development Team to ensure the Sprint Backlog is well defined, prioritised and aligned with the product goals.
  • Coach the team and the organisation in Scrum practices, values and agile mindset.
  • Help remove impediments and obstacles that block the team's progress so the team can focus on delivering.
  • Protect the team from external interference or scope creep, enabling them to maintain a sustainable pace and deliver reliably.
  • Measure, track and report on team performance (velocity, burn-down, impediments) and use data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, self-organisation and high performance in the team and across stakeholders.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches and stakeholders to improve cross-team coordination and agile maturity.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience working in agile software development environments, with a proven track record as a Scrum Master (or similar role).
  • Experience facilitating Scrum teams, ideally in distributed or global environments.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum theory, practices, roles, events and artefacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams in self-organization, continuous improvement and cross-functionality.

  • Experience in coaching other Scrum Masters or agile practitioners is a plus.
  • Experience in scaling agile practices or working across multiple teams (bonus).
