SIEM Engineer

Location: On-site – Islamabad | Full-Time | Experience: 3+ Years

AXI is looking for a skilled SIEM Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Islamabad. This role requires hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Case Management solutions. You will be responsible for building and managing end-to-end security monitoring infrastructure, writing custom rules/parsers, and designing automation workflows for incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Wazuh SIEM & FortiSiem for enterprise security monitoring.
  • Deploy and manage Shuffle SOAR, including workflows and playbooks.
  • Integrate and manage agents across servers, endpoints, and firewalls.
  • Develop custom log/device integrations with decoders and parsers.
  • Deploy and optimize Graylog for log normalization and correlation.
  • Deploy and manage TheHive & IRIS for case management.
  • Install and configure Firewalls (OPNsense, pfSense) for secure networking.
  • Implement network security monitoring & centralized dashboards.
  • Build Grafana dashboards for visualization and reporting.
  • Integrate MISP & VirusTotal for threat intelligence enrichment.
  • Integrate Cortex analyzers with SIEM and case platforms.
  • Write and fine-tune detection rules aligned with MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Design SIEM & SOAR architectures for scalable SOC operations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Master's in Cybersecurity or related field
  • Strong analytical & documentation skills
