Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Home Health RCM Specialist with hands-on experience in Medicare/Medicaid billing, PDGM, OASIS, and home health compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end revenue cycle for home health agencies, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursements, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and submit Home Health claims on UB-04.
  • Work with PDGM, HIPPS codes, and OASIS documentation for accurate billing.
  • Manage NOA (Notice of Admission) creation and timely submission.
  • Verify patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and authorizations.
  • Monitor claim rejections/denials and perform timely follow-ups for resolution.
  • Communicate with insurance payers to ensure claims are processed without delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments, adjustments, and outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and QA teams for documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and payer-specific guidelines.
  • Prepare financial reports and claim status updates for management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Home Health RCM or medical billing (1+ year preferred).
  • Knowledge of PDGM, OASIS, HIPPS codes, NOA, and Medicare billing rules.
  • Strong understanding of institutional billing (UB-04).
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
