About Us

We're building a next-generation fintech platform under Sponto — designed to simplify global payments, contracts, and compliance for freelancers, startups, and SMBs.

The goal is to bridge the gap between traditional banking and modern payment systems, creating a seamless, compliant, and borderless experience.

Your Role

We're looking for a hands-on CTO / founding engineer to lead the technical direction, architecture, and MVP build. You'll work directly with the founding team to take the product from concept to launch, shaping how international businesses manage payments and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and lead the MVP build — focusing on payments, wallet, contract, and KYC systems.
  • Define the technical roadmap and oversee backend and frontend teams.
  • Build scalable, secure infrastructure with future funding and growth in mind.
  • Integrate APIs for payment rails, banking partners, and compliance verification.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder and business team on product direction.
  • Participate in fundraising discussions and product strategy decisions.

What You Bring

  • Strong background in Fintech, SaaS, or blockchain-integrated systems.
  • Experience with cross-border payments, KYC/AML, or digital wallets.
  • Deep expertise in backend systems , Python, Go, etc.) and API architecture.
  • Familiarity with smart contracts or ledger-based validation a plus.
  • Startup mindset — you're comfortable building fast, iterating, and owning outcomes.
  • Open to equity + post-funding compensation structure.
