Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Mid-Level role for a Business Intelligence Developer located in Islamabad. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions. Day-to-day tasks include creating and managing data models, developing dashboards, performing data warehousing, and executing the ETL process. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to interpret business requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain BI dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau


• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources


• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics


• Collaborate with business teams to understand and fulfill data needs


• Perform data cleaning, formatting, and validation


• Analyze trends, KPIs, and generate actionable insights


• Document technical processes and maintain report accuracy


• Support ad hoc reporting and dynamic dashboard needs

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering


• 1–2 years of experience in BI development or a related role


• Strong skills in Power BI
and/or
Tableau


• Proficient in
SQL
and data querying techniques


• Intermediate knowledge of
Python
for automation or scripting


• Familiarity with
data warehousing
concepts and
ETL tools
(e.g., Power Query)


• Understanding of
API integrations
and/or
cloud databases
(e.g., Azure, BigQuery)


• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple data sources and meet reporting deadlines
