We are seeking a Tableau Developer with strong expertise in ETL processes, SQL development, and Tableau dashboarding. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Tableau, preferably with exposure to medical data, healthcare, or hospitality-related domains. This role requires strong analytical skills, data storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of business intelligence best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
  • Build and manage ETL workflows to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning for Tableau dashboards and underlying queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, data engineers, and business users.
  • Apply domain expertise in medical/healthcare data (preferred) to deliver meaningful insights and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices for maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI/Analytics role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, performance tuning, joins, stored procedures).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Solid understanding of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with medical, healthcare, or hospitality datasets.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards, compliance, or reporting (HIPAA, HL7, ICD codes, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools or cloud data platforms (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, Redshift) is advantageous.
