Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Assisting the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, costing, taxation and financial analysis.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tax implications.
Preparing financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting tax and costing considerations.
Collaborating with other departments on financial matters, ensuring alignment with tax regulations and cost-effectiveness.
Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures through strong costing knowledge.
Supervising and mentoring junior finance staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Partly qualified ACCA/ICMA.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, with demonstrable experience in taxation and costing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Odoo, ERP Oracle).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan.
Solid understanding of costing principles and methodologies.
