Responsibilities

You will be responsible for working towards adhering best practices to ensure a

hygienic, safe and healthy work environment. Handle waste and maintain a clean

and sanitary hospital environment.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • dust all horizontal surfaces that collect dust daily to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas
  • empty wastebaskets, other trash and clean ashtrays
  • clean bathrooms including metal and porcelain fixtures
  • wipe all furniture using a damp cloth (Sanitizing)
  • dry and wet mop floors, both indoor & outdoor (Floor dusting / Sanitizing)
  • clean patient & room and bed after s/he has been discharged whenever assigned
  • vacuum carpets and clean spots on the same when assigned
  • clean walls and windows when assigned
  • inform supervisor if any wear and tear is found in assigned area to ensure follow-up from MEP, Civil and Electrical etc. departments
  • perform emergency cleaning complaints when required
  • any other related task as assigned by supervisor
