Facilities Operations Assistant

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing operations are critical to the smooth functioning of our facilities management team. As a key member, you will contribute significantly to ensuring these systems operate effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support plant room operators with chemical dosing, ash removal and equipment monitoring tasks
  • Prioritize routine housekeeping duties to maintain plant rooms and equipment in pristine condition
  • Collect and transport ash for transfer to contractors
  • Foster a culture of safety by adhering to established procedures at all times
  • Participate in additional tasks assigned by supervisors or operators as needed
Essential Qualifications:
  • Matriculation is preferred; relevant experience takes precedence
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a plant or machinery setting
  • Proven familiarity with infectious waste handling and loading systems for incinerators
  • Able to collect and hand over ash to contractors efficiently

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
