Job Purpose:

The overall responsibility of the Assistant Manager PMO is to assist the respective RCTO in overseeing all engineering-related functions and the progress of all engineering projects being executed by the region. The Assistant Manager PMO will focus on the timely execution of projects and regional goals in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality. This includes monitoring and controlling project progress and deliveries, and focusing on the needs and priorities of the Regional and other important project stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting RCTO in maintaining and meeting overall regional goals, KPIs, and KCIs.
  • Assisting RCTO in meeting overall regional NC Rollout Targets ensuring necessary enablement from peer departments.
  • Close coordination with HQ O&M, NP, NC and cost control for necessary enablement and support for operational sites related issues.
  • Assisting RCTO in strategic planning, resource planning, resource management, decision making, and project execution.
  • Liaison with Head Quarter for policy directives, general guidelines, special tasks, and progress reviews.
  • Assessing and evaluating all ongoing as well as new engineering projects being planned and executed in the region for ensuring quality and compliance with overall regional as well as company targets.
  • Tracking, database management, and reporting of all project-related activities along with highlighting bottlenecks and areas which need improvement.
  • Identification and solving of problems, risk management, mitigation, and contingency planning to meet overall company/region objectives.
  • Enhancement and improvement in inter and intra departmental communication and coordination.
  • Supporting the region in the development and deployment of "Total Quality" principles and initiatives in the execution of all phases of the project cycle.
  • Supporting skill development & capacity building of project teams with a focus to improve overall efficiency by enhancing key management and technical areas.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Skills):

Education:

  • B.Sc., BE or Equivalent Engineering, from a reputable Engineering institute.
  • MBA will be considered as a plus with the Engineering Degree.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar domain.
