Job Summary

This role will be responsible for supporting the Coverage team in deepening Transaction Banking (Cash & Trade) product penetration in Pakistan and providing insights to target New-to-Bank clients. The incumbent will lead the development of tailored customer value propositions, drive deal execution, structure cash/trade solutions to grow revenue, spearhead strategic initiatives, manage client pictures and RFPs (Request for Proposals), and identify cross-sell opportunities including effects foreign exchange.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create long-term strategic and tactical client-level strategies for assigned clients.
  • Integrate client strategy into the overall account plan and align with coverage partners.
  • Develop global calling plans and stakeholder mapping as part of client strategy.
  • Define digitization initiatives in the assigned portfolio to enhance client loyalty, wallet share, and market share.
  • Partner with trade distribution teams to enhance capacity to meet client requirements.
  • Identify Cash / Trade business opportunities, structure and pitch appropriate solutions, and deliver client mandates effectively.
  • Collaborate with implementation, client management, and service teams to ensure a superior client experience.
  • Develop operational plans with product teams to meet revenue targets for cash & trade in line with sales strategy.
  • Drive pipeline and closures through business origination activities.
  • Lead initiatives with the Transaction Banking product team, such as banking the ecosystem and commercialization of new products.
  • Lead RFP responses, client pitches, and ensure successful conversions, including feedback and corrective actions for unsuccessful bids.
  • Manage deal execution, oversee implementation, and ensure revenue realization.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities in TBFX and pass leads to relevant teams.
  • Proactively develop cash & trade opportunities with coverage and product teams.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and execute activities accordingly.
  • Work with other product teams on cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build relationships with trade finance and cash management decision-makers through active client calling.
  • Increase client penetration and revenue by promoting the bank's network and product capabilities.
  • Implement targeted marketing strategies for new initiatives and product launches.
  • Create calling plans mapping key stakeholders and decision-makers within clients and the bank.
  • Identify client needs, engage influencers, develop solutions, and lead proposals and pitches.
  • Leverage structured solutions and treasury expertise for complex deals.
  • For trade: structure facilities for trade deals and grow utilization of trade limits.
  • For cash: develop liquidity, transactional FX solutions, and follow-up for BAU growth, replicating successful solutions across clients and markets.
  • Monitor usage of channels for complex deals and ensure post-sales service issues are managed properly.
