We're looking for a strategic and resourceful Backlink Acquisition Expert who knows how to land powerful backlinks using HARO, direct outreach, and editorial placements. This is not a guest post farming or PBN job — we're after someone who understands the value of relationship-based link-building and can craft compelling pitches that get results.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for identifying and securing high-authority backlinks through:

  • Responding to HARO (Help A Reporter Out) queries
  • Manual outreach to niche-relevant websites
  • Building and nurturing relationships with journalists, editors, and bloggers
  • Monitoring opportunities in platforms like HARO, Qwoted, Terkel, and SourceBottle
  • Using creativity and SEO knowledge to turn content assets into backlink magnets
Requirements

Proven success with HARO or similar PR platforms (show examples or placements)

Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzStream, or Respona

Exceptional writing and communication skills — your pitches should never feel automated

A good understanding of search intent, topical relevance, and link equity

Ability to research a client/brand quickly and tailor pitches for each opportunity

Reliability and responsiveness — we work in real-time, not on autopilot

Bonus Points

Established relationships with editors, journalists, or site owners

Experience working in SEO agencies or with high-growth startups

Understanding of link gap analysis and competitor backlink auditing

Familiarity with digital PR campaigns or content-led link-building

You will be asked

Share 2-3 live backlink examples (DA/DR 50+ preferred).
