As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) within a designated region, driving the execution of the company's sales strategy. The RSM is responsible for achieving revenue growth, meeting sales targets, and ensuring the successful delivery of KPIs across the region. This role works closely with the Zonal Manager and senior leadership to align regional sales efforts with broader corporate objectives.

Things you will be doing for the Business:

  1. Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's broader sales objectives and goals.
  2. Ensure the effective execution of sales plans across all assigned regions and territories, working closely with ASMs to track performance and ensure that targets are met or exceeded.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and tactics.
  4. Track regional sales performance and ensure that Area Sales Managers achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and retention.
  5. Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to the Zonal Manager, highlighting performance metrics, progress toward goals, and challenges faced by the team.
  6. Collaborate with the sales operations team to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of sales data.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners in the region, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team, Sales Operations & Sales Control to develop region-specific promotions, campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
  9. Foster a high-performance culture, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  10. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the achievement of regional sales goals.
  11. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with ASMs to review performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for development.
  12. Act as a custodian of compliance, ensuring all sales activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
  13. Conduct regular audit/reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  14. Lead, coach, and mentor sales teams on compliance matters and update them on any changes in policies or regulations.

What we are looking for in you?

  1. A minimum of bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent from any accredited local or foreign institute.
  2. Minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role leading a team of sales professionals.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies based on market and customer insights.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  7. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
