About the role

"Are you a strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a knack for negotiation? We're looking for a Senior Buyer to drive excellence in indirect commercial procurement, bringing together supplier management, process improvement, and cost optimisation expertise to make a real difference in our operations. Join us to shape procurement strategies and influence business success in a company leading the way in health and hygiene.

Your responsibilities

- Craft and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings and ensure quality.
- Seamlessly manage the end-to-end purchase process from selecting suppliers to overseeing contract compliance.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to foster mutual growth and reliability.
- Scrutinise market trends to capture opportunities for financial and operational enhancements.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring their needs are artfully met through your procurement solutions.
- Uphold the highest standards of accuracy in all procurement documentation and supplier information.

The experience we're looking for

- Min. 3 years of experience in commercial procurement, where meticulous negotiation and strategic sourcing were key to your success.
- Developed multiple projects from concept to completion, balancing various stakeholder needs with ease.
- Refined analytical and problem-solving skills that help you navigate complex procurement landscapes.
- Exceptional communication abilities, allowing you to foster connexions and liaise effectively at all organisational levels.
- Competent in using modern procurement software and tools, enhancing the effectiveness of your role.
- An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, setting the foundation for your expertise.
