Description

Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) is diversifying into private sector consulting. Businesses face numerous challenges that impact efficiency, especially with evolving markets and technologies. CERP aims to assist clients in implementing vital changes to improve their economic health and establish itself as a leader in private sector consulting outside Pakistan. We are seeking exceptional resources to join our team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Facilitating client discussions and interviews to identify improvement areas.
  2. Defining problems clearly and conducting process mapping for comprehensive understanding.
  3. Hypothesizing solutions and gathering relevant data.
  4. Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to support evidence-based solutions, including data mining, market research, and business intelligence collection.
  5. Consolidating research findings and presenting solutions to clients.
  6. Developing and presenting implementation plans for recommended changes.
  7. Supporting clients in institutionalizing changes through training and development.
  8. Supporting business development activities, including proposal development and client discovery processes.
  9. Assisting project leadership with strategic direction and overall project management, ensuring milestones are met.
  10. Coordinating with research teams to ensure quality data collection.
  11. Recruiting, training, and supervising project staff as needed.
  12. Contributing to data analytics, insights, project deliverables, and knowledge products in collaboration with the team and partners.

Role-specific requirements:

  • Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant project management experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of research methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Excellent storytelling skills via PowerPoint presentations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Effective teamwork and flexibility.
  • Understanding of business environments and commercial awareness.
  • Problem-solving and structuring skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Urdu; additional languages are a plus.
