Why This Role Exists
Our product and research groups are scaling quickly, and world‑class engineers are the backbone of our success. As the first dedicated Engineering / Technical Recruiter at GrowthRune, you are the face of our talent brand—owning the full recruitment lifecycle, advising hiring managers, and crafting an unforgettable candidate experience. Your mission: build diverse, high‑performing engineering teams that ship ambitious AI‑driven products.
Salary Range: 130,000 PKR to 180,000 PKR+
What You'll Do
- Own the full funnel – source, screen, interview, and close software engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, SREs, and security specialists across time zones.
- Serve as strategic partner – coach hiring managers on job design, assessment rubrics, and market data; influence workforce‑planning decisions with clear insights.
- Tell the GrowthRune story – articulate our vision, culture, and product roadmap in a way that excites passive and active talent alike.
- Level‑up processes – implement scalable ATS workflows, interview kits, compensation benchmarking, and DEI initiatives to reduce bias and speed up hiring.
- Lead & mentor – provide recruiting best‑practice guidance to sourcers, coordinators, and cross‑functional interviewers; model excellent candidate communication.
- Build talent communities – run virtual events, nurture engineering networks, and curate referral programs that keep top prospects engaged long‑term.
- Track and report – own funnel analytics and KPIs (time‑to‑hire, conversion rates, diversity metrics) and present insights to leadership on a regular cadence.
Must‑Haves
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience in high‑growth tech or product‑led organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to fill senior and niche engineering roles globally.
- Fluency in modern software development concepts (e.g., cloud, CI/CD, LLMs, DevOps) and the curiosity to dive deeper.
- Proactive leadership style—able to influence without authority, coach interview teams, and drive decisions to closure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; you're equally comfortable pitching on a Zoom call or crafting compelling outreach messages.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience using an ATS (Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, etc.) and reporting on funnel health.
- High EQ and genuine passion for people—candidates leave every interaction feeling respected, informed, and energized.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Prior experience recruiting in AI/ML, cybersecurity, or highly regulated domains (healthcare, finance).
- Familiarity with employment regulations across multiple geographies.
- Early‑stage or hyper‑growth startup background where processes had to be built from scratch.
- Experience hosting or speaking at tech meetups, hackathons, or university recruiting events.
