POSITION SUMMARY
Lead in all aspects of Safety, Environment, and Manufacturing Excellence. Emphasize the implementation of market-level initiatives, including the development and execution of site-specific initiatives that drive continuous performance improvement, in alignment with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset of achieving zero accidents and incidents. To plan, organize and control environmental programs at factory in compliance with Nestle corporate/market standards and government laws and regulations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …
1. Lead and oversee the creation and execution of the Safety and Environment (S&E) strategy and program at the factory.
2. Implement, manage, sustain, and enhance the Safety and Environment Management systems for the Factory, ensuring compliance with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certifications. This includes developing and deploying specific tools and initiatives as part of the Factory's SHE program, while providing functional leadership for the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
3. Develop and implement the factory's environmental strategy and program, aligning with market and corporate objectives.
4. Control the annual environmental program to ensure compliance with Nestle standards and government regulations.
5. Ensure environmental performance data is available and managed correctly.
6. Manage air emission, water/effluent disposal, and noise.
7. Provide periodic reports on environmental issues to relevant departments and external parties.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?
1. Insight in national environmental laws and regulations - good knowledge of Pakistan environmental issues and legislation for quality assurance and expert input is an advantage.
2. The application of Market/Business SHE Policies and the support management system (NEMS and NSMS) as well as the implementation of these at Factory level.
3. Developed understanding of Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodologies, in particular TPM and LEAN.
4. Must be passionate about their people, consumers, products and community and display a caring attitude.
5. Must be totally committed to keeping our people safe and to protecting the environment
