The Techno-Functional Consultant will be a key player in our organization, acting as the bridge between the technical capabilities of the Transportial OTMS and the functional needs of our clients and sales team. This fully remote role involves a blend of implementation, support, and sales support activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a passion for technology, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

1. Implementation:

  • Lead and manage the remote implementation of the Transportial OTMS for new clients.
  • Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
  • Configure the Transportial platform to meet specific client workflows and needs, leveraging the full range of its capabilities.
  • Provide comprehensive training to end-users to ensure successful adoption of the system.

2. Support:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and technical issues related to the Transportial OTMS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related problems, escalating to the development team when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Transportial documentation to provide accurate and efficient support.
  • Create and update support documentation, tutorials, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of the Transportial OTMS.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and responses to technical queries from potential customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a techno-functional, application support, or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of business processes, particularly in the logistics or transport industry, is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or other logistics software.
  • Familiarity with APIs and a basic understanding of software integration concepts.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
