Manager Vendor Relations

We are looking for a Vendor Manager (clothing & fashion industry).

The job responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with vendors on a regular basis through email, call & text to increase assortment.
  • Arranging photo-shoots if the vendor cannot provide quality pictures.
  • Providing stock updates to vendors to avoid order cancellations due to stock-outs.
  • Following up with all promotions.
  • Managing vendor payments by sending invoices when the payment cycle ends.
  • Improving communication with vendors to build sustainable trust, leverage effective negotiation, and minimize conflict resolution and vendor-related risks.
  • Negotiating contracts and commissions with vendors to ensure mutual value while maintaining the company's interests.
  • Liaising with the legal team for contract administration and regulatory aspects, including contract changes, disputes, and updates.
  • Partnering methods and requirements as a way of doing business with vendors.
  • The ideal candidate has strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills are essential. The Vendor Manager must be an effective leader, communicator, and seasoned problem-solver.
