The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

The job requires the provision of professional services to the Pakistan National Men's Cricket Team. These services include: game planning/strategies, pre/post tournament preparation/evaluation, performance enhancement/improved international ranking, improved fitness standards with the help of support staff, facilitating team excellence/augmentation in individual skills regarding consistency in international competitions, and developing a sustainable team culture aligned with international standards.

Pakistan Cricket Board is engaged in promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining general control of the sport.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, COMPETENCY AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation
  • At least 10 years of experience coaching elite national/domestic cricket teams with a proven record of performance enhancement
  • Experience coaching athletes/cricketers to international standards
  • Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills
  • Ability to develop and implement team and individual skills enhancement strategies
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating international systems and processes
  • Ability to set KPIs for players and coaches with ongoing monitoring
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent persuasion, integrity, professionalism, and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
