PS Technical Consultant (Implementation and Development)Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adeptProfessional Services (PS) Technical Consultantto join our implementation and development team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives on technical challenges, and is enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and evolving environment. Comprehensive training will be provided. This role may involve international travel to support global project deployments.

The PS Technical Consultant will be responsible for delivering technical deployment expertise and support to both end clients and internal Professional Services teams. The primary objective is to implement and customize software solutions for the monitoring and management of customer ATM terminals, particularly focusing on the deployment of NCR Atleo's Vision solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise in the deployment and configuration of the Vision Software Suite.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the functional use of the Vision System.
• Provide consultancy to clients on business rules and assist in defining automated incident resolution processes.
• Conduct troubleshooting and optimization of deployed systems.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document customer specifications and requirements.
• Collect and analyze system and customer data for Vision 4.x deployments.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SoW), project estimates, and delivery documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Support teams to deploy software updates, patches, and fixes.
• Customize system software to meet client-specific requirements, including the development of parsers, plugins, and utilities using Java and .NET technologies.
• Perform quality assurance testing on newly released products.
• Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong experience with Java technologies (Groovy, Apache Tomcat, JavaScript).
• Proficient in developing client/server utilities using TCP/IP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with .NET technologies (C#, Visual Studio, IIS).
• Skilled in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, including tokenization, JSON, XML, and tools like Postman.
• Ability to analyze logs and traces for troubleshooting purposes.
• Solid understanding of database structures and schemas.
• Proficiency in MS SQL, including writing queries and stored procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with engineering and support teams.
• Creative, organized, resourceful, and customer-focused.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and clients.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours to support a global customer base.
• Capable of handling high-priority (P1) issues with urgency and professionalism.
