We are expanding our team and looking for an HR Generalist to support us in Pakistan.
Responsibilities:- Payroll
- Provide accurate updates regarding employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, and benefits changes.
- Have a proper understanding of complex labor and tax requirements (brackets, contributions, etc.).
- Be comfortable with manual payroll collection, input, and processing.
- Coordinate with finance and other departments to ensure smooth payroll processing.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Relay to stakeholders any changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
- Employee Relations
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience and compliance with company policies.
- Draft contracts and ensure timely signatures during employment and terminations.
- Provide departing employees with necessary information and support regarding their employment details as per policies.
- Prepare requested documents, including but not limited to salary certificates and travel NOCs.
- Compliance
- Assist in developing, communicating, and enforcing compliance policies and processes.
- Conduct audits by regularly reviewing HR processes and records to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Insurance
- Coordinate with the insurance broker to ensure:
- New legal entities are covered under the insurance policy.
- Employees and their dependents are insured upon joining.
- Coordinate with the insurance broker to ensure:
- Miscellaneous
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including C&B, HRBPs, Legal, etc., for creation and distribution of relevant information.
- Oversee accurate and confidential HR records, ensuring data integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Fluency in English and Urdu.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan labor legislation.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and calculations.
