Cloud Support Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage our team of technical support engineers in a dynamic environment. The role involves overseeing shift operations, ensuring high-quality customer service, managing team performance, and collaborating with management to improve processes.

  • Shift Leadership: Lead and manage support shifts, including onboarding and training new team members.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction and meet KPIs such as CSAT and SLA adherence.
  • Team Performance: Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular meetings.
  • Troubleshooting: Handle complex technical issues and coordinate escalations.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and guide the team towards achieving exceptional results, while also being proactive in identifying areas for improvement. They will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  2. Experience in technical support, preferably in cloud or hosting services, with managerial experience.
  3. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
  4. Knowledge of Linux (Apache, Nginx, MySQL) and open-source applications is a plus.
  5. Flexible availability for a 24/7 support schedule.
