CHS has five major sections – Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Population & Reproductive Health, Environmental-Occupational Health & Injuries, and Non Communicable Diseases & Mental Health.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Assistant in Community Health Sciences department.
Responsibilities:
- manage the reception desk and professionally attend to visitors. Handle incoming telephone calls and route them to the appropriate staff/faculty promptly
- maintain accurate records of stationery requests and consumption. Monitor and track Purchase Requisitions (PRs); liaise with the Purchase and Finance Departments to follow up on requisitions and payments
- prepare and update daily/weekly transport schedules in coordination with the team for field visits
- facilitate in preparing monthly transport log on department vehicle usage
- provide logistical and on-ground support during courses, workshops, and seminars including room setup, refreshments, and material distribution.
- manage the online repair and maintenance system; follow up on pending requests to ensure timely resolution
- maintain and coordinate online bookings for classrooms, conference rooms, and computer lab
- assist in the verification and physical audit of departmental inventory and fixed assets
- support the Coordinator and other team members with routine office management tasks. Provide support in documentation and filing of administrative records (both soft and hard copies)
- coordinate courier dispatches and receipt of official correspondence or parcels.
Requirements:
You should have:
- a minimum of Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- a minimum of one to two years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in an academic or NGO setting
- proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management systems
- strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu.
