The Role

As a Software Developer with the Information Platform team, you will be responsible for developing and providing backend support across a variety of products within the Market Intelligence platform. You will build scalable and robust solutions using AGILE development methodologies with a focus on high availability to end users. You will participate in the software development process (SDLC).

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

The Team: This team collaborates across eight locations to craft enterprise-grade applications that serve a large customer base. You will use a wide range of technologies and work with internal teams in a collaborative environment.

The Impact: We focus on developing, enhancing and delivering information and functionality to internal and external clients in client-facing applications. You will have a highly visible role with broad impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions within a multi-functional Agile team
• Develop expertise in proprietary enterprise software products
• Promote the use of various technologies to develop, support, and iteratively deploy enterprise software
• Understand customer environments and usage of the products
• Build solution architectures, algorithms, and designs for scalable deployments
• Apply software engineering practices and implement automations across all elements of solution delivery

Basic Qualifications

• 0.5-1 years of application development experience with deep understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming
• Hands-on development experience using Salesforce CRM (mandatory); C#, .NET 4.0/4.5, REST/Web API, ASP.NET, SQL Server; strong OOP and SOA knowledge
• Ability to resolve performance-related issues through testing, debugging and profiling
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
• Demonstrated client-focused, self-starter attitude
