What you'll do as a Senior Billing Coordinator:

• Process all relevant customer invoices daily with 100% accuracy.
• Resolve and respond to all 'rejected' invoices promptly.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure invoices are billed and paid as agreed.
• Train and mentor new or junior team members and assist in resolving complex issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly spreadsheet billings accurately.
• Process various forms of billing (paper, electronic, manual) as needed.
• Provide daily departmental support and train junior staff.
• Manage issues sent to the Credit email boxes, including communication with customers, Credit, and Sales teams.
• Encourage customers to adopt electronic billing methods to reduce costs and prevent lost invoices.
• Process invoices daily, researching and resolving issues by understanding systems and requirements, and communicating with customers and Sales.
• Reconcile and maintain specific customer accounts, resolving issues, re-billing, and applying credits and payments as needed.
• Handle emails related to tax-exempt credits, understanding state taxation, and coordinate with Sales and Tax Managers.

What you will bring to the team:

Education/Certification:

• ACCA/MBA/BBA in Finance & Accounting or related field.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years in Credit/Collection/Billing roles, including senior support, with a focus on electronic billing and payment posting.
• Advanced knowledge of billing systems and ERP software; experience with MS D365 (CE/FNO) is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other computer skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills, especially email etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and review team tasks for accuracy.
