Job Title: HR Manager & Admin

About the Client:
An Australian accounting and tax firm is expanding its back-office support services in Pakistan and is seeking talented candidates to join our team.

Position Overview: The Senior Manager will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, retention, and employee benefits. The role also encompasses comprehensive administrative management to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
This position reports directly to the Partner in Australia and manages a team comprising an HR Officer and an Admin Officer. It offers an attractive remuneration package reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management
  1. Staffing and Recruitment: Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job descriptions, advertising, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  2. Onboarding and Integration: Create structured onboarding programs, facilitate orientation sessions, and ensure new hires are well-acquainted with company policies and culture.
  3. Training and Development: Conduct needs assessments, develop training calendars, monitor training effectiveness, and enhance programs continually.
  4. Employee Relations and Retention: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, implement engagement initiatives, and develop retention strategies.
  5. Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with external providers to manage employee benefits, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  6. Compliance & Policy: Develop and update HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and maintain accurate employee records.
Administrative Management
  1. Office Maintenance & Support: Oversee infrastructure, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
  2. Operational Efficiency: Develop policies and procedures to improve operations and ensure availability of resources.
  3. Team Supervision: Lead and evaluate the HR and Admin Officers, providing mentorship and ensuring goal achievement.
  4. Crisis Management: Handle unforeseen challenges affecting office operations.
Leadership and Strategic Contribution
  1. Collaboration with Leadership: Advise the Partner in Australia and align HR and admin strategies with business goals.
  2. Data and Reporting: Prepare reports on HR metrics, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency, using data to recommend improvements.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with external stakeholders like legal advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 6-8 years of progressive HR and admin experience, including 2-4 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, benefits management, and office tools.
