Human Resource Associate Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Associate to join our team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring a speedy recruitment process and developing policies to support the organization's growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resource management principles and practices. You will work closely with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment and selection: advertising vacancies, assessing applications, scheduling interviews and tests, checking references, and compiling results.
  • Employee relations: preparing staff handbooks, advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, assisting with policy and structure development for the organization, undertaking regular salary reviews, administering payroll, maintaining employee records, dealing with grievances, and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Negotiation: negotiating with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions, promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resource management, business administration, or related field).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
