The Position focuses on growth in the retail segment and emphasizes HCPs and institutions. The role involves sale of devices, distribution management, after-sales service, and planning and executing activities. The ideal candidate should be familiar with territory operations in Sukkur, with experience in an MNC environment and strong understanding of both retail and institutional healthcare channels. You will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Planning: assist in territory planning by providing market environment insights and estimating monthly/yearly product demand; prepare and execute monthly customer visit plans with specific objectives; review sales, provide monthly forecasts, and report on stock and promotional material status; ensure timely submission of all required reports.
- Sales Promotion: develop in-depth knowledge of HCPs, customers, and accounts in the assigned territory; continuously enhance product, disease, market knowledge, and promotion skills; support and execute promotional campaigns using approved materials and provide feedback to the marketing and line managers.
- Sales: achieve monthly SKU-wise sales targets and monitor stock/expiry at both customer and distributor levels; develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including HCPs, hospitals, and trade outlets; collect market feedback, build product advocacy, and implement sales schemes approved by the head office; focus on both channel sales and direct sales (approximately 70% retail and 30% hospitals/institutions).
- Diabetes Awareness: assist in arranging diabetes awareness sessions in coordination with relevant stakeholders; support organization of diabetes and product awareness sessions for trade customers and HCPs.
- Distribution Management: monitor distributor performance and maintain regular communication with them; handle distributor/dealer/customer concerns and suggestions professionally; ensure sufficient and timely stock availability at distributor level.
- SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) Responsibilities: follow all SHE programs, procedures, and instructions; report unsafe conditions or acts immediately and wear your company badge on-site; inform your line manager if unsure about any SHE-related situation.
- Graduate in any discipline with passion for sales and client relationship management.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Pharmaceuticals, OTC, or Medical Devices.
- Experience with competitors or in MNC environments is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Territory Manager or similar role with familiarity of the Sukkur market is preferred.
- Experience dealing with Retail Shops, Chemists, HCPs, Hospitals, and Distributors.
- Experience with surgical, diabetic, or cardiac products is preferred.
- Computer savvy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to execute product promotion strategies, in-store activities, and field marketing campaigns effectively.
