Job Title: Business Development Officer (IT Sales)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Business Development/Sales (IT Industry)

Job Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Director

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer with a strong background in IT sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, generating leads, and bringing software development, digital solutions, or IT services projects to the company. This role requires a go-getter with a solid network and experience in selling IT services or solutions to clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT sector.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and offer appropriate IT solutions.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, online platforms, events, and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to bring projects onboard.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM with prospects and pipeline details.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the IT industry .
  • Strong understanding of software development services, web and mobile solutions, or IT consulting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong client network and market knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
