
Regional Sales Manager

Reports to: National Sales Manager
Location: Sahiwal, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering top-line goals (Volume & Revenue) through sales strategy formulation and execution.
- Achieve season-wise crop-wise volume delivery.
- Drive volume delivery for new products (RC1-RC3).
- Set goals, develop tactics, and evaluate activities to ensure goal achievement with all assigned employees.
- Monitor dealer network effectiveness annually and implement corrective measures.
- Provide annual/monthly volume & revenue forecasts.
- Ensure price execution and timely collection of receivables.
- Formulate and execute sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement crop strategies.
- Work with Commercial Effectiveness to design and execute GTM strategies.
- Implement farmer and trade-level sales promotion programs and related initiatives.
- Coordinate with Agronomy for product testing, sampling, and agricultural development plans.
- Manage costs dynamically, including market promotions, travel, and personnel expenses.
- Share and ensure delivery of RSP and collection plans.
- Lead people, identify talent, and foster development.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize sales effectiveness tools for territory, activity, and retail planning.
- Assist in finalizing growth projects for new and existing markets, segments, and geographies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry influencers, partners, and teammates.
- Optimize operational efficiency and drive productivity initiatives related to distribution, sales revenue, outflow, and collections.
- Adhere to company values and policies.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Agriculture
Experience: 8+ years in seed/agri-input industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good knowledge of crop management techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English and local language, both oral and written.
- High stamina for regular field tours.
- Persuasive selling skills, both group and individual.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Objection management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining market control.
- Strong commercial acumen, understanding margin structures, and articulating schemes' advantages to dealers and distributors.
