Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to enable accelerated, profitable, sustainable growth by driving the rapid prioritization, development, and flawless execution at scale of a world-class pipeline of human-centric innovation that benefits the portfolio, people, and planet. The role significantly influences the business innovation agenda, working centrally across functions such as Marketing, Insights, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance, with visibility to Market & Operating Unit leaders. It reports directly to the Pakistan PO1 & Beverages Innovation & Commercialization Lead.

Responsibilities

  1. 3-Lens Innovation Leadership
    • Provide expertise across Desirability, Feasibility, & Viability lenses at project and pipeline levels. Identify key tensions between consumer appeal, operational feasibility, and financial viability to ensure human-centric, strategic, and affordable innovations, with pep+ integration as a core focus.
  2. Intentionally Scale Human-Centric Solutions
    • Identify and scale innovations enterprise-wide using Pepsico's digitalized Innovation Hopper, supporting desirability, feasibility, and viability assessments in collaboration with Marketing. Develop comprehensive rollout plans and governance to ensure successful implementation.
  3. Drive Bold Choices & Winning Execution
    • Define innovation's role in business growth strategies. Embed key KPIs such as profitable growth, pipeline sufficiency, and stickiness. Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and supply chain to develop and execute innovation calendars aligned with strategic priorities and financial targets.
    • Manage project scope, milestones, risks, stakeholder engagement, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on scope, time, and budget, with ongoing risk mitigation and opportunity maximization.
    • Lead Innovation governance and Stage Gate processes, ensuring cross-functional alignment and learning integration from performance reviews.
  4. Deliver Best-In-Class Capabilities
    • Partner with global teams to embed capabilities such as digitalized Innovation Hopper, Stage Gate processes, project management, and LEAN methodologies to accelerate speed to market and process efficiency.
  5. Qualifications
  • 7-8+ years of experience in consumer, commercial, or supply chain roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of end-to-end innovation processes, P&L, supply chain, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Results-driven with leadership qualities, capable of operating in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with proven project management capabilities.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills to develop business insights and solutions.
