Lead the GTM Motion for a Freight Fintech Leader

Phi Consulting is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a team of full-cycle Account Executives for one of our enterprise freight fintech clients. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll manage pipeline creation, sales execution, and deal conversion — all while collaborating directly with client-side leadership.

You'll operate as part of Phi's embedded GTM team, backed by RevOps, enablement, and GTM engineering resources to help you scale results.

About the Client (Confidential – Enterprise Freight Fintech):

Our client is a recognized leader in freight payments, factoring, and financial services for SMB fleets and brokers across the U.S. Their mission: to help transportation businesses grow through faster cash flow, modern fuel programs, and intuitive tools — all built with the industry in mind.

What You'll Own:

  • Manage and coach a team of full-cycle AEs focused on SMB and mid-market deals
  • Oversee the entire sales process — from prospecting to close
  • Build and refine sales playbooks for carrier, broker, and fleet segments
  • Set and track performance against pipeline and revenue quotas
  • Collaborate with internal RevOps to improve targeting, sequencing, and sales efficiency
  • Lead weekly forecasting, performance reviews, and deal strategy sessions
  • Act as a strategic partner to client-side executives, sharing insights from the field

Within 90 Days, You'll:

  • Lead and operationalize outbound + closing motions across multiple segments
  • Hit 80%+ of your team revenue quota with clear pipeline visibility
  • Review interactions to optimize messaging and objections handling
  • Implement live reporting dashboards for client and internal stakeholders
  • Establish yourself as a go-to GTM leader across both Phi and client teams

You're a Fit If You:

  • Have 5+ years in B2B sales, including 2+ years managing full-cycle reps
  • Know how to scale outbound + closing teams targeting SMB and mid-market buyers
  • Understand the freight, logistics, or fintech landscape (or can learn fast)
  • Are a strong sales coach who knows how to run call reviews, pipeline clinics, and forecast meetings
  • Have worked in high-velocity, metrics-driven environments
  • Are structured, data-minded, and proactive about solving bottlenecks

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in freight, trucking, or transportation tech
  • Background in factoring, fuel programs, or fleet management solutions
  • Experience managing consulting-side or embedded client accounts
  • Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Close, Slack, Clay
